Mapleton
Yesterday I drove for 1 1/2 hours up to Mapleton, near the Sunshine Coast. The show was at Chris and Adie's house and after a big family dinner we all went outside for the show.
This morning Chris and Adie took me for a drive from Mapleton in a loop around the Blackall Mountain range, through the Mary Valley and the Obi Obi valley.

On this incredible route you can also visit see the Mary Cairncross Rainforest and the impressive volcanic plugs, the Glass House mountains.

By the time we got back to the house it was late afternoon and I was expected in Tweed tonight, just across the Queensland/New South Wales border by Ian's (from Brisbane) sister who was kindly putting me up for the night to break up the long drive back to Sydney. Adie packed up some food and sent me on my way.
And so, the Australian tour has come to an end. I drove back through Brisbane and joined the Pacific highway travelling south again.
