Happy New Year!

Spent my last NY in NY. Saw midnight in with friends in lower midtown, then decided to walk the 3 1/2 miles home. Passed couples arguing and kissing, people walking with purpose and staggering, intoxicated, down Bleeker and through the Lower East Side, bumping into an old friend on Allen Street who owns THE BEST venue in NY who simply believes in music and is one of good guys, then over the Williamsburg Bridge, where someone had graffitied "Life is beautiful and so are you" on the sidewalk, into Brooklyn to my front door. That's NY for you.
Happy New Year Everyone! May we all be a little bit better at everything in 2012.
